Ingredients:
150grams Onions chopped
150grams Tomatoes chopped
2medium size Potatoes [cut into lenthwise]
salt – as required
Oil – for frying
1/2tsp Mustard
1/4tsp urad dal
1/4tsp pepper
1sprig curry leaves
Few curry leaves

Grind together:
8Red Chillies
1/4cup Grated fresh coconut
1tsp Cumin seeds
1tsp Poppy seeds
3tsp Roasted gram
1tsp sombu

Method:
Heat oil,add mustard, urad dhal and pepper.
Add onion and saute for five minutes.
Add chopped tomatoes, potatoes and saute for few minutes.
Add ground paste with salt, stir for few minutes.
Pour just enough water, close with lid and cook in medium flame till thick.
When potatoes are cooked properly, remove from fire.
Garnish with coriander leaves and curry leaves. Serve with idlis and dosas
