Ingredients:
200 gms Raw rice
50 gms urad dhal
Salt to taste
1/2 kg oil
Method:
Soak rice and dhal for 4 hours.
Grind this mixture to a smooth consistency.
Add salt and enough water to make into a pouring consistency.
If the batter is thick add little water to make it thin.
Heat oil and pour one table spoon of the batter in it and fry.
Do not deep fry . It should form a flat round paniyaram in the oil.
