Ingredients

1 no Brinjal 
1 no Drum Stick
3-4 Red chillies (broken)
1 cup Thuvaram Paruppu Toor Dhal
1 sprig Curry leaves
½ tsp Turmeric powder
1 cup Water
Lrmon Sized Tamarind
¼ tsp Asafoetida powder
1 tsp Red chilli powder
Salt to taste

Grind seperately with 1/2 tsp oil.
¼ tsp White gram dal
2 tbs coriander seeds
¼ tsp Fenugreek
4 no Red dried  chilli
½ tsp  oil
2-3 Dried chillies split into two
1 tsp Mustard
A few Coriander leaves

Method
Clean the vegetables and slice into long pieces.
Wash the dal and cook  the dhal in 3 cups of water.
Add turmeric powder and curry leaves into the dal. Keep it aside.
Extract the tamarind in a cup of water.
Boil the tamarind water with red chilli powder, salt, curry leaves, asafoetida.
When it boils, add  the vegetables in it.
Cook till done and add the dal.
Bring to  boil and add the ground masalas.
Remove from fire after boiling.
Season with mustard seeds and dried chillies.
Add chopped coriander leaves.
