Ingredients:

1/2 kg – Potatoes
5 – Onions
3 or 4 – Tomatoes
as desired – Salt
11/2 Tbl. sp – Oil
1 Tbl. sp – Vanaspathi

Grind together:
8 – Red chillies
11/2 tsp – Jeera
1 Tbl. sp – Dhania
10 flakes – Garlic

Method:
 Boil potatoes in pressure cooker. Peel and mash coarsely. Slice onions thinly, finely chop tomatoes.
Heat oil, season with jeera and curry leaves, fry onions till it becomes transparent, and tomatoes and fry for few minutes.
Add ground mixture, fry well, with salt and sugar. Add potatoes and fry well. No need to add water. This is a dry curry, which suits well for pulkas.
