PEAS AND MUSHROOM GRAVY

Ingredients
Mushrooms - 500 gms
Onions - 2
Oil / Butter - 2 tablespoon
Garam Masala - 2 tablespoon
Ginger (chopped) - 1 piece
Chilli powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Tomatoes - 3
Peas (shelled) - 250 gms
Lemon juice (optional) -1 tablespoon
chopped coriander and mint -1/4 cup
Salt - to taste

Method:
Soak the mushroom in cold water for 15 minutes.
If big, cut into halves or quarters. Wash them in water, drain and mix with peas. Heat the oil/butter in a sauce pan and than add the thinly sliced onions, ginger and fry them gently till transparent. Add salt and chilli powder.
Allow it to sizzle for a minute or two. Then add mushrooms, peas and sliced tomatoes.
Mix well then allow the mushrooms to be cooked uncovered on medium fire until gravy is thickened.
Now add garam masala and lemon juice (optional). Simmer it for a few minutes and then serve it hot, garnish with fresh mint leaves and coriander.
