Ingredients:
broiler chicken cut into medium pieces – 1 kg
oil – 3 tbs
Whole spices: 1 stick cinnamon.
2 cardamoms,
2 cloves.
2 large onions, ground to paste
6 slit green chillies
garlic ginger paste – 1 tbs
11/2 cups water
salt – 2 tsp
20 blanched and peeled Almonds
1 cup milk
unsweetened khoya – 50 gms
chopped coriander leaves – 1 tbs
Method:
1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add whole spices and let it splutter.
2. Add ground onion paste, green chillies and fry for 3 minutes
3. Add garlic ginger paste and fry for a minute till light brown
4. Add raw chicken, 11/2 cups of water and 2 tsp. salt.
5. Cook chicken for 4 minutes with cooker closed.
6. Open the cooker, add almond paste, milk and khoya. Stir well and let gravy simmer for 10 minutes till thick.
7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve with rice or rotis.
