Ingredients:
1 medium sized broiler chicken of about 1 kg. cut into medium sized pieces.
1/4 cup water
chilli powder – 2 tsp
salt – 11/2 tsp
turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
garlic ginger paste – 1 tsp
soya sauce – 1 tsp
oil – 3 tbs
1 large onion, sliced
1/2 small lime
garam masala powder – 1 tsp
Method:
1. Put washed chicken in a pressure cooker.
2. Add 1/4 cup water, chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder, garlic ginger paste and soya sauce.
3. Cook the chicken for just 3 minutes. Keep the cooker open and evaporate all the water.
4. Heat 3 tbs. oil in a kadai.
5. Put in sliced onions, fry for a minute till light brown.
6. Add the cooked chicken and fry till golden brown
7. Add lime juice and garam masala powder. Stir well for 2 minutes and remove from fire.
