Ingredients:
broiler chicken, skinned and cut into medium sized pieces. – 1 kg
vinegar – 1 tbs
garlic ginger paste – 2 tsp
cumin powder – 1 tsp
turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
chilli powder – 11/2 tsp
garam masala powder – 1 tsp
3 pinches tandoori colouring
salt – 2 tsp
1/4 cup water
oil for shallow frying
Method:
1. In a bowl, add raw chicken pieces, vinegar, garlic ginger paste, cumin powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder, tandoori colouring and salt.
Marinate chicken for at least half an hour.
2. Put the marinated chicken into pressure cooker.
3. Add water, cook for 3 minutes till all the water evaporates.
4. Cool the chicken well.
5. Heat oil in a tawa. Shallow fry 8 pieces of chicken at a time till golden brown. Serve with onion rings and cubed lemons.
