Ingredients

Chicken – 1 (Cut in 8 pieces with bone)
Small Onions – 1/4 Kg (chopped in 4 pieces each)
Tomatoes – 2
Somph – 1 teaspoon
Red Chillies – 10 – 15
Turmeric Powder – 1 Teaspoon
Salt – To Taste
Coriander Leaves – Chopped

Method

Clean and cut the chicken into small pieces.
Smear salt turmeric powder and mix well with the chicken and set aside for 1/2 an hour.
Heat oil in a kadai, add somph, split red chillies and curry leaves. The chillies have to discolour a bit.
To this add the chopped onions. When the onions turn light brown, add the cut tomatoes.
Fry well and then add chicken pieces.
Fry this well and keep on sprinkling salt water while frying.
Pour a minimum amount of water for the chicken to cook well.
When the chicken is well cooked and dry, add the chopped coriander leaves and serve.
