Ingredients:

1/2 kg – Carrot
2 or 3 – Tomatoes
1/2 cup – Dry coconut(scraped)
7 – Green chillies
1/2 inch piece – Ginger
7 flakes – Garlic
1 tsp – Poppy seeds
3 – big onions
2 – Cardamoms
2 – Cloves
1 inch piece – Cinnamon
1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
required amount – Salt
1 tbl sp – Oil

Method:

Grind dry coconut, green chillies, ginger, garlic and poppy seeds. Scrape and cut carrots into small pieces and cook.
Heat oil in a shallow pan add the spices, onions and fry. When it is done add cut tomatoes and fry for few minutes. Add carrot and ground mixture and enough water.
Boil till gravy thickens. Suits for puris and chappathis.
